Alums - Join the UE Professional Network

As we enter a new academic year, the offices of Alumni and Parent Relations and
Career Services and Cooperative Education are happy to announce another
convenient, simple, and direct connection Alumni may have with UE and its
students. The University of Evansville Professional Network is an online system
that allows students and recent graduates to contact interested alumni,
recruiters, and friends of the University as they explore career paths and
attain post graduate outcomes.
As a UE Alum you represent an important resource for students as they determine
their majors, minors, and career directions. The Professional Network is a web
resource of career profiles designed to connect more alumni and friends of the
University with the career development needs of students. It is a chance for
them to ask questions about your field and your transition from a student to the
professional world. You offer a unique opportunity for students to increase
their business protocol and communication skills.
All you have to do is: 1) Visit career services web site:
http://careerservices.evansville.edu/employers/professional_network/ 2)
Create an account 3) Respond to students inquiries as necessary
By serving as an informal career advisor you provide the precious gift of
knowledge and time invested into the next generation of leaders graduating from
the University of Evansville!

UE students need 3 promises from YOU
LOVE UE – this is an easy one! Students often
hear how much alums love UE, but last year our alumni participation rate was
under 14%. We know we can do better! We also know that more than 14% of our
alumni are proud this institution, the degree they earned and the time they
spent here!
BE COUNTED – as an alumni donor every year.
Every gift counts, no matter the size. Your gift to UE’s Alumni Scholarship Fund
provides student scholarships and bridges the gap between tuition and the actual
cost of operating the University.
STRENGTHEN – the value of your own degree as you
strengthen UE’s scholarship program, and our national rankings in publications
that prospective students and parents read. Without your financial support, all
will eventually lose significance.
There is strength in numbers—both the number of our student body, and the
number of alumni that can make a difference in their education! Please make your
Alumni Scholarship Fund gift today at
www.evansville.edu/give.
