Financial Aid and Student Account Information

Fall semester billing statements continue to be generated on the first of each month. When viewing your student account/bill on WebAdvisor remember that the "View Bills" link is a snapshot of your account on the day the bill is dated, and does not change between billing dates. To view your current account balance, which reflects activity between billing statements (such as payments you have made or new aid that has been deducted), you should view the link called "Account Summary by Term." Please contact the UE Office of Student Accounts at (812) 488-2565 if you have questions about your Student Account.

Email notification of the bills is sent to the student's UE email and other emails designated by the student. Students must grant access for parents to WebAdvisor so that they will be able to view both the student's financial aid and billing information.

Financial aid that is not final or outside scholarships that have not been received by UE will not appear on the bill. Please view your Financial Aid for 2013-14 on WebAdvisor under the link "FA by Year." Your WebAdvisor record will indicate the status of each type of aid you have received and indicate if further action is required on your part to finalize the aid. Please return all required documents and/or take the necessary action steps indicated as soon as possible, so that your aid will be applied to your UE Student Account. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid at (812) 488-2364 if you have questions about finalizing your financial aid.

Advice to Parents

From Kevin and Rhonda Cook, Parents Council Members from San Bernardino, CA

  • UE provides digital TV service with the proper type of TV connection cables.
  • The washers and dryers are available at no charge, no quarters required.
  • Distant students are able to store their belongings at the school over the summer. The University will share this information with students in the spring.
  • Your students will receive their mail and packages! Mail is delivered in their mailboxes (roommates share a box). They receive a slip in their box when a package is received and they pick it up in the RA office.
  • There is a local bank within walking distance of the campus and ATM's in a few places on campus.
  • A little note: Although we wanted to talk to our daughter all the time, especially at first, we were careful to let her take the lead. We would send her a quick text message or a Facebook comment from time to time but overall we tried to give her room to adjust and enjoy the new experiences. We were rewarded by receiving regular calls home and hearing all about her new life. We live on the west coast so visits are not so simple. We would send silly packages from home and enjoy when she called or skyped to open it "with us".

Parents' Fund

The 2012-13 was a successful year for the Parents' Fund thanks to the generous gifts from the dedicated UE parents. While most Parents' Fund gifts to UE are used to meet student scholarship needs they are also essential unrestricted gifts that help fund student activities and professional development opportunities for the students. This year the Parents' Fund will help sponsor a student and family campus picnic and a financial session for juniors, seniors, and graduate students covering what to expect from job offers, questions about benefit packages, importance of life insurance, why should they contribute to a 401-K and start thinking about retirement planning early, and establishing a budget after graduation (reasons why they shouldn't buy a $60,000 new car on a $30,000 salary).

Thank you to everyone who made a gift in the past and we hope you'll renew your support this year. Your gifts to the Parents' Fund are tax deductible and help UE provide an impactful educational experience. To make a gift to UE, visit the
UE GIVE page or call the Annual Giving Office at 812-488-2440.
